There’s a clip going around of a Michael K. Williams interview where the late actor recalls how Tupac helped him land his first movie role.
In the snippet from a 2018 PeopleTV interview, Williams says ‘Pac helped him break into Hollywood. Williams was up for the role of Tupac’s brother in the movie Bullet -- there were no auditions for the role, so it came down to which Polaroid shot ‘Pac liked best. “[He] saw me and my picture, and saw that scar and was like… ‘Yo, go find this dude, he looks thugged out enough to play my little brother.”
Williams didn’t even know it was Tupac’s co-sign that helped him land the role until the Death Row rapper told him the story on set in between takes.
