TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
This won't bring him back, but hopefully this brings some closure and a sense of justice to Mac's friends and fam.
Sounds like the judge is making an example out of these guys. Good.
Rest in power, Mac.
Even though Stephen Walter pleaded guilty to a federal count of distribution of fentanyl, the judge recommended he serve a longer sentence because he continued to sell drugs after Miller’s death. In court, Walter admitted to his role in supplying counterfeit drugs. He said, “I’m still taking responsibility for everything that happened…. I accept responsibility.”
One of Walter’s associates, Ryan Reavis, pleaded guilty to drug distribution charges and was sentenced to 11 years back in April. The case of a third man -- Cameron Petit -- is still pending. (ABC News)
