TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

There were a million red flags this was a bad idea before the cameras even started rolling. There's a reason Ye's episode of The Shop never aired.

N.O.R.E. is grown enough to known better at his big age.

N.O.R.E. is a rapper turned podcast host, not a journalist.

Some folks think N.O.R.E. is worried about being named in a potential defamation lawsuit by Floyd's family.

What about Ye's antisemitic comments? Those were offensive as well.

N.O.R.E. is doing an about-face after backlash over the Kanye West Drink Champs interview.

On Sunday, N.O.R.E. boasted about doing bigger numbers than the NFL. But by Monday morning, following news that George Floyd’s family was considering a lawsuit against Ye, the Drink Champs host changed his tune.

During a call-in appearance on Monday’s Breakfast Club, N.O.R.E. apologized to Floyd’s family and promised that the show will make sure to review and edit content before release going forward.

He elaborated on what happened leading up to and immediately following the interview, saying, "I support freedom of speech...But I do not support anybody being hurt. I did not realize that the George Floyd statements on my show was so hurtful. And you gotta realize, it was the first five minutes of the show when he walked in, he told my producer, he said that if he’ll stop filming, he’ll walk out.”
