At least six people were arrested by police in Atlanta after Saturday's peaceful protest turned violent, with rioters breaking windows and setting a police car ablaze.
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens said Saturday evening, "Atlanta is safe and our police officers have resolved the disruptions downtown from earlier in the evening."
The mayor added, "The City of Atlanta and the Atlanta Police Department will continue to protect the right to peaceful protest. We will not tolerate violence or property destruction."
The protest was in response to the fatal police shooting of 26-year-old Manuel Esteban Paez Teran. Police say they refused to cooperate with their demands on Wednesday and shot at state troopers. (Fox News)
