The iconic group’s last gig will be at Madison Square Garden this spring; after that, it’s a wrap. DMC says, “The only way Run-DMC gets back together is if The Beatles can get back together. Can that happen?”
The concert will coincide with a new documentary project the group is working on. DMC says, “It’s going to be the last episode of the documentary we’re doing. Run-DMC’s last show ever. ‘Cause it’s time for Run to go be Paul McCartney and me to be John Lennon. We done did what we could do.”
They can spin it how they want -- it seems as much about one last big payday as anything else.
