More and more women are turning into so-called "Costco Brides" -- ready and willing to buy all the ceremony must-haves at the big box chain.
You can buy pretty much anything at Costco these days ... including a complete wedding. More and more women are turning into so-called "Costco Brides" -- ready and willing to buy all the ceremony must-haves at the big box chain. Some of the bargains out there include:
Floral centerpieces. Wedding planners say to expect to pay around $10,000 for roses, but one bride told the New York Post she bought hers in bulk at Costco for just $480.
Cake. A typical wedding cake will run around $500, but a thrifty lady told the Post that she and her hubby hit Costco for two large sheet cakes -- total cost $50 (and just as easy to smush into the bride or groom's face).
Engagement rings. Yes, you can even rely on Costco for this. The chain can get you a one-carat round diamond in a halo setting for a mere $4000 -- less than half the price of the average jeweler.
