- Who knows, Cardi might dedicate herself to more community work going forward as a result.
- Talk about a role model.
- Sometimes a little bit of encouragement or inspiration can go a long way.
Cardi B says her experience serving community service has been nothing short of “life-changing.”
Just a couple of days ago, she was tweeting, “My brains are burning from waking up early, community service then studio….but I did the crime 'I only have myself to blame.”
Late last year, Cardi was sentenced to complete 15 days of community service by January, before giving an extension until March 1st. Some of her community service activities included face time at churches, high schools and other New York City non-profits.
Cardi tweeted, “Community service has been the best thing that has happened to me. Almost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears. Those people that we leave behind they just need somebody to talk and a lil push and YOU might be able to change their life forever.”
