The city that came out on "top" was Houston, Texas, which was named the most stressful workplace in America.

Work is the biggest stress-maker in everyone's life ... but not everyone is stressed equally. L.I.C. Org surveyed people around the country and determined the most stressful places for full-time workers. The researchers used a number of real-life criteria, including average hours worked per week, average commute time, percentage of workers who are not able to work remotely, income growth rate, and each city’s crime rate.

The city that came out on "top" was Houston, Texas, which was named the most stressful workplace in America.

If you're looking to mellow out, the most stress-free city in the survey was Providence, Rhode Island.
