Iron Maiden has overtaken Soundgarden for fourth place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Fan Vote.
With close to 2.9 million ballots cast, George Michael is still at number-one followed by Cyndi Lauper and Warren Zevon.

- Rage Against the Machine - 153,500
- The Spinners - 150,000
- The White Stripes - 110,000
- Missy Elliott - 82,500
- A Tribe Called Quest - 71,000
Voting is open through April 28th at Vote.RockHall.com or in person at the Museum in Cleveland. The Top 5 artists selected by the public will make up a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to determine the 2023 inductees. Voting is capped at one ballot per day.
Inductees will be announced in May along with the date and location of the induction ceremony in the fall.
