Confidence is so important in our daily lives, but as a recent survey shows, it's often hard for most of us to muster up enough of it. In fact, the average American feels insecure five times a day. Things like speaking in front of a large group, not being properly prepared, starting a new job, and trying a new dating app for the first time are common things that put us all on edge. 55% of people say they've been able to fake confidence in challenging situations which has actually helped to boost their real confidence. Researchers also found that confidence levels vary among professions. The most confident people, according to the survey, are medical professionals. They're followed by servicemen and servicewomen, businessmen and businesswomen, politicians, and athletes.
