That's the biggest opening of the year, the biggest video game movie opening of all time, and the second-best start ever for an animated title behind Incredibles 2 The flick notched another $173 million at the international box office, pushing its global tally to a whopping $377 million.

Air, the Nike sneaker tale starring Ben Affleck and the unseen spirit of Michael Jordan, raked in $20.2million in its first five days of release, good enough for second position. Of note, it's the first theatrical release from Amazon.

The other titles only tallied three day results, and it was a dead-heat for the third spot, between John Wick 4 and Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

.Wick added $14.6 million, so after three weeks on the big screen, the action sequel has generated $147 million in North America. D & D faded to $14.5 million in ticket sales, bringing its total to $14.5 million, for a disappointing total haul of $62 million so far.

Creed III rounded out the top five with box office of $3.3 million.
