A new study says the answer may be yes. According to the survey, conducted by Brigham Young University, married adults who only had sex with their spouses reported having a happier union than those who had many sexual partners before tying the knot. Only 25% of married people who had five to nine sexual partners, and 14% of those who had been with 10 or more, reported a “very high level of relationship stability." On the flip side, 80% of those who have had sex only with their significant other claimed "great" emotional closeness in their relationship.
