Football fans are eager to see what the upcoming NFL schedule release has in store for their favorite teams. Here’s what we know about the schedule so far.

· While no set release date has been confirmed by the league, the target date has been reported as May 11th…one week from today

· The defending Super Bowl champion always starts the season at home. That means the Kansas City Chiefs will be hosting either the Broncos, Raiders, Chargers, Bills, Bengals, Dolphins, Bears, Lions, or Eagles

· This season, there will be five international games, but we only know the home teams for those matchups…the Bills, Titans, Jaguars, Chiefs, and Patriots

· The 2023 season will feature three Monday night double-headers, and the NFL will be able to flex games to Monday night starting in Week 12 of the season

· Amazon Prime has dibs on Thursday Night Football, but they won’t be able to air a game on Thanksgiving because of the traditional holiday schedule. So, for the first time ever, there’ll be a Black Friday game on November 24th at 3:00 pm ET. This will be the 12th time since 1970 that an NFL game was played on a Frida
