Police in Texas have identified the suspected gunman in the mall shooting Saturday.
33-year-old Mauricio Garcia was shot dead by police after killing eight and injuring seven more outside the Allen Premium Outlets outside Dallas.
Garcia was apparently a neo-Nazi sympathizer. According to NBC News, his social media accounts were filled with racist, violent rhetoric. He also had a history of mental health problems dating back to his time in the U.S. Army more than a decade ago.
Garcia used an AR-15 rifle to carry out his attack, was carrying a handgun and was wearing a tactical vest. Police found more weapons in his car. (NBC News, ABC News)
