A father was killed and his two kids were injured on Saturday when a grenade accidentally detonated inside their Indiana home.
Police say the family was looking through a grandfather's belongings when they came across a hand grenade. They say someone pulled out the pin and the device exploded. 47-year-old Bryan Niedert was killed. His 17-year-old son and 18-year-old daughter suffered shrapnel wounds and were taken to the hospital. Authorities say "Injuries, cause and manner of death are all pending" an investigation. A bomb squad was deployed to the house to search for other explosive devices. (Fox News)
