Whole Foods announced that by the end of this year, all 500-plus of their locations in the U.S. will be offering Amazon One palm readers at checkout. That means you'll be able to go shopping without your wallet, your purse, your phone, or any other method of payment … because all you'll need is your palm.

You've got to hand to Amazon and Whole Foods, they really got their finger on the pulse of technology. Whole Foods announced that by the end of this year, all 500-plus of their locations in the U.S. will be offering Amazon One palm readers at checkout. That means you'll be able to go shopping without your wallet, your purse, your phone, or any other method of payment … because all you'll need is your palm. Right now, the Amazon One palm readers are available at 200 Whole Foods stores in 20 states. All you need to do is pre-enroll an Amazon One account and link it to a credit or debit card. Then when checking out, just wave your palm over the reader and take your groceries home.
