Houston, Texas is bracing for the first Travis Scott concert since the Astroworld tragedy of 2021.
Mayor Sylvester Turner confirmed that the Utopia Tour “booked the Toyota Center for October.” City officials have already met with the Toyota Center “to ensure this concert’s safety.” (Billboard)
Good luck with that. His most recent show was not without incident.
The director of Circus Maximus in Rome, Italy reported that 60 people were treated for injuries at Travis’s concert. A teen needed to be hospitalized. They fell over a railing and crashed onto the level below. The director saw the aftermath and declared (quote) “We judge rock concerts negatively." (EuroNews)
