Young adults rejecting booze … A new Gallup poll found that a record-high 39% of Americans now say that consuming one to two drinks a day is bad for your health – that’s an 11- point increase from 2018. This is especially true for young adults. 52% of 18- to 34-year-olds said even moderate drinking was bad for your health – up 18 points since 2018.

More adults are boozin' and 'shroomin’ … While younger adults are passing on the booze, older adults are partyin’ more than ever. According to researchers at the University of Michigan, adults ages 35 to 50 are binge drinking at the "highest prevalence ever recorded for this age group." Use of marijuana and hallucinogens are also at an all-time high. Marijuana use has doubled over the past 10 years and 4% of middle-aged adults say they've used hallucinogens like LSD and mushrooms over the past year.
