She says the new version is "like a whole 'nother album" with its own name and seven to 10 brand new songs.
TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- It sounds like Christmas is coming early for all the SZA fans out there.
- She's been on the road most of this year touring around SOS -- from February until the end of next month.
- Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate the (roughly) one year anniversary of the album dropping.
SZA announced plans for a deluxe version of SOS in the next few months.
She told fans at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on Friday night, “the deluxe is like a whole 'nother album, and it’s called Lana. It’s seven to 10 songs and it’ll be out this fall.”
The Grammy winner kept it one-hundred with attendees on Friday, saying, “we don’t actually have a plan… We’re just playing some songs off the deluxe, and we’re just gonna play a couple of songs you already know. It was really just — I just wanted to do something for free that was a vibe ’cause I was here in town. Literally there’s no other point to this whatsoever.” The “unplanned” performance included an impromptu pop-up from Ice Spice, who briefly took the stage.
