TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • Still, having some amount of interaction with other humans is a good thing.
  • It's been suggested that he should hire a "prison bodyguard" and give out some gifts to the other inmates to get on their good sides.
  • It doesn't matter what he does, he'll have a target in his back for as long as he's in there.
  • The fact that he's in a Super-max means he's around some really bad and dangerous folks.
  • Keep your head up, Tory.

We’re getting some more details on Tory Lanez’s prison accommodations.

Court reporter Meghann Cuniff offered a fact-check this week, when she reported that he isn’t actually in gen-pop as was previously reported. Instead, he was transferred from North Kern State Prison to the Super-max California Correctional Institute.

Cuniff notes, “California Correctional Institute is in Tehachapi, about 85 miles southeast of Kern. It’s designated as a Super-max prison, so ‘general population’ there is not quite the same as general population elsewhere.” (Legal Affairs and Trials)
