IN BLANKSTARE NEWS: Dating app-athy …

A survey by Forbes Health found that 80% of American singles have had it with swiping. This is especially true for women, with 80% saying they feel dating app burnout compared to 74% of men.

If you are over dating apps, you are definitely not alone. A survey by Forbes Health found that 80% of American singles have had it with swiping. This is especially true for women, with 80% saying they feel dating app burnout compared to 74% of men. Gen Z singles are also really over dating apps, with that generation being the most likely to “always” feel some level of dating app exhaustion.

“People who experience burnout with dating apps are exhausted from constantly meeting new people, failing opportunities and lies,” says Rufus Tony Spann, Ph.D., a certified sex therapist and Forbes Health Advisory Board member. “Over time, the unfortunate misgivings of being on a dating app can cause someone to lose hope in the dating process and finding the right person.”
