Despite cries of "nepo baby," the Los Angeles Lakers used their second round pick in the NBA draft to choose Bronny James, the teen son of legendary player Lebron James.
Bronny, who played just one year at USC, comes into the league after racking up statistics that were not exactly stellar -- four points and two assists per game. He also had some serious health issues, but got the go-ahead to continue playing after surgery to correct a congenital heart defect.
Lebron, who's in the conversation for greatest player in NBA history, has long talked about wanting to play alongside his son before he retires. The star, who turns 40 on December 30th, is rumored to be on the verge of signing a three-year, $160 million contract. (USA Today)
