Did you start going for walks during the pandemic? It looks like the habit stuck, because a new survey found that 60% of American adults enjoy a good walk, whether for fun or exercise. Women tend to walk a bit more than men, and younger folks hit the pavement more often than older ones. Interestingly, people with higher incomes and education levels are also more likely to take a stroll. On the flip side, around 16% of adults walked for transportation, especially those with lower incomes.
