A new study has revealed a possible link between severe cases of COVID and cognitive decline. According to research conducted at the University of Oxford, people who were hospitalized with severe COVID at the beginning of the pandemic, have experienced a cognitive decline that is the equivalent of 10 IQ points. The study also found that, on average, peoples' depression, anxiety, and fatigue worsened. A quarter of the people examined said their decline was so significant that they had to change jobs.
