- I’m still trying to figure out how the media apparently only destroyed her reputation in U.S. and Canada, while she’s apparently still good in the U.K. and Europe.
- Pras has his own (legal) issues to worry about.
- If he really saved her reputation, they wouldn't have a problem, now would they?
- Don't you hate when a real one turns into a lost one?
- One day folks are riding with you by your side, sharing the stage and the studio night after night, and the next they're throwing you under the bus. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there.
- Pras might have been looking out for his groupmate but that doesn't mean he's delusional or blind to what's going on around him.
- Pras might have just got himself uninvited from the next tour -- if and when it ever happens.
Lauryn Hill’s groupmates say they are done protecting her.
Late last week, plans for a 25th anniversary North American tour celebrating The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill with her group, The Fugees, were scrapped. Hill cited low ticket sales as the reason why, but went a step further and pointed a finger at the media, who she says was working overtime to spin false narratives that damaged her reputation as a performer.
But at least one of her groupmates thinks she needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror, pointing the finger at Hill herself as the reason why things fell apart. Pras tells TMZ, “I saved her reputation for 20 years by not telling my side of the story but oops… cat’s out of the bag.”
Hill still apparently has plans to bring the tour to the states at some point, but for now, the only place fans can buy tickets to see her and The Fugees is in the U.K. and Europe.
